I am an experienced ESOL tutor. I always take into consideration students' different learning styles. It helps me to choose materials that are appropriate for each individual. There is always a helpful and friendly atmosphere during my lessons. It allows students to overcome their worry about speaking without mistakes. I always give students a lot of advice on organising their work at home. I also explain to them how to consolidate the material. Learners are always encouraged to ask questions if they do not understand something.

My teaching method is based on learning and using grammar in speaking and writing. As a result, the students become confident. They can express themselves using appropriate word collocations and grammar structures. This makes their speech and writing meaningful and correct. It enables them to acquire excellent communication skills. It also helps them find employment in the UK.

About My Private ESOL Lessons

Normally, every lesson starts with a warm-up exercise. Students may have different levels of English. Depending on that, I engage them in a short discussion on a particular topic. For example, we can talk about the weather, your working day, etc.

The next step is revising previously covered material: grammar and vocabulary. Students may be offered some exercises or short tests. It helps to make good progress in speaking the language. It is also important to understand written texts.

Some ESOL lessons are centred around reading texts and building up vocabulary. Others may be focused on developing listening skills. I find it important to teach students to ask questions. This should be a two-way communication. Thanks to many exercises of this kind, students learn to speak fluently.
